My fiction has appeared in Blackbird, Juked, Barrelhouse, and Sycamore Review, among others, and my story “The Hunting Vest” was selected by Danielle Evans as runner up for the 2023 Kenyon Review Short Fiction Contest. I earned an MFA from Hollins University, served as an assistant editor for YesYes Books, and was a Writer-in-Residence with the Inner Loop. I’m currently at work on a novel, an excerpt of which was longlisted for the 2021 Master’s Review Novel Excerpt Contest. I write about the literature and art I love in my monthly newsletter, Supermassive Black Hole.
